”Cheonghagol, which faces the southern mountain range of Cheonryeong Mountain and forms a rugged canyon, is famous. There is Bogyeongsa Temple, where the Wonjin State Preceptor Pagoda (Treasure No. 430) and Wonjin State Preceptor Monument (Treasure No. 252) are preserved.
The hiking trail leading to Hyangnobong Peak on Naeyeonsan Mountain is in front of Okgye Valley Campground in Haok-ri. It is 3.7 kilometers to Hyangnobong Peak. The hiking trail is steep from the beginning. When you climb the ridge, you will see a lush oak forest. If you leave the narrow road at the intersection with Samjibong (Hyangnobong 0.65km, Samjibong 3.0km), you will reach Hyangnobong (930m). There is a summit stone about 2 meters tall at the top. The road down to Simyeong-ri, which is 1.5 kilometers away, is steep. It is 6.2 kilometers from Simyeong-ri to Bogyeongsa Temple. As you go through the forest, you will come across a clear view. The highlight of Naeyeonsan Valley starts from here. With Bokho 2-pok in front of you, the road goes up the slope on the left. After passing a few tattered areas, you cross the valley in front of Geungdanggol. After appreciating the beauty of the 12 waterfalls, you will arrive at Bogyeongsa Temple.
