Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 6, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to define the conditions of use, procedures, rights, duties, and responsibilities for the Service's real-time mountain weather, safety indexes, Feng Shui Five Elements, and birth-date mountain matching features.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "Service" refers to the website and associated software systems accessible via PC, mobile devices, etc., which display real-time weather and Feng Shui insights for South Korea's 100 famous mountains.
  • "User" refers to any visitor or user who accesses and uses the Service under these Terms.

Article 3 (Effect and Revision of Terms)

1. These Terms become effective once they are displayed or announced to users within the Service.
2. The Service may amend these Terms as necessary within the boundaries of applicable laws. Amending terms will be announced at least 7 days prior to their effective date via notices within the dashboard.

Article 4 (Limitation of Liability & Services)

1. The real-time weather forecasts and analysis provided are sourced from public data sources such as the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) Open API. Due to sudden shifts in weather, system errors, or communication issues, forecasting data may differ from reality. Users must prepare safe hiking gear and check local real-time conditions before climbing.
2. The Feng Shui Five Elements, simplified birth-date interpretation, and mountain compatibility information is provided solely for entertainment and reference. It is not a scientific assessment or a substitute for professional Four Pillars analysis. The Service assumes no legal liability for hiking, business, investment, or other decisions made based on this information.
3. The Service is exempt from liability for service interruptions caused by natural disasters, acts of war, DDoS attacks, public system failures, or any other force majeure events.

Article 5 (Obligations of the User)

Users are prohibited from doing the following:
1. Intentional actions that disrupt or damage the Service or system performance.
2. Scraping, crawling, copying, distributing, or commercially exploiting the content and databases of the Service without authorization.
3. Defaming others or causing legal harm.
4. Violating local regulations or these Terms of Service.

Article 6 (Intellectual Property)

1. All copyrights and intellectual property rights in original text, source code, designs, and assets created by this Service belong to the Service provider.
2. Public meteorological and forestry data rights remain with their respective source organizations (KMA, Korea Forest Service).

Article 7 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

1. These Terms and any disputes arising between the User and the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. Any legal proceedings arising from the use of this Service shall be resolved in the court of competent jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
