Inheriting the grand spirit of Gyeongsang region, Hwangjangsan Mountain (1078.9m) is an awesome destination in golden silver grass waves in the autumn breeze in October. After dominating the horizon from the summit, a satisfying bowl of hot pork soup and grilled beef patties in the bustling market alley completes this majestic climb.
”It was selected in consideration of its landscape and forest cultural aspects, as the dense forest blends with the rock walls to create a beautiful landscape, and it is famous for its Hwangjangmok trees and has a marker for Bongsan Mountain from the Joseon Dynasty. It is marked as Jakjaksan Mountain in Dongguk Yeoji Seungnam, Daedongjiji, Yecheon-gun Eupji, etc.
This is the shortest, most general course. Passing in front of Jieun Mine, the gentle larch forest path is as comfortable as a walking path. The climb up to the small Chagatjae is quite steep. There is a heliport at the top of the hill. You pass through a pine forest path that is dark even in the middle of the day, and then follow the uneven Ambongneung. Metdeungbawi Rock is a long rock that forms a rock ridge and boasts a beautiful scenery interspersed with old pine trees. However, it is a very dangerous place if you slip, so you must be especially careful in snowy or rainy weather. There is a heliport at the flat summit. Hasan-ro Santaegol is a valley southwest of the Bebawi Ridge intersection in Namneung. There is a sign and a faint trace of the road. The valley, which was steep at first, turns into a gentle slope as you pass through a tattered area, and you can almost see Ansandari Village in the distance. At the end, the path leads to the right (northern) slope. When the grave appears, the mountain path ends and the apple orchard path begins.
