Sinbulsan Mountain (1159.3m), possessing an awe-inspiring natural shape, is highly recommended during fresh spring when plants bloom. Reaching the summit rewards you with a panoramic view, which is perfectly followed by a hot feast of fresh wild mountain vegetable bibimbap and seafood scallion pancake.
”It is a mountain belonging to the Yeongnam Alps mountain range, and its ridge has a harmonious combination of vast silver grass, rocky cliffs, and gentle terrain. It is home to Jakcheon Valley, Paraeso Waterfall, etc. It was selected considering that it is a county park, and is famous for the Sinbulsan Waterfall Natural Recreation Forest.
This is a general course that involves climbing Sinbuljae Mountain, viewing the silver grass fields of the Sinbul Plain, then crossing the summit and descending to Hongryu Falls. The best time is early to mid-November, when the silver grass has faded slightly and new shoots begin to fly. If you camp on the mountain or sleep at the Sinbulsan Shelter around this time, it will be an unforgettable memory. In November, people flock to Sinbul Plain from all over the country, so it is advisable to avoid taking Dinosaur Ridge as a descent route. There are many places with ropes attached to the slopes of the rocks, and the traffic congestion there is very heavy, so go all the way to Ganwoljae and get down to Hongryu Waterfall Valley. From Gacheon-ri to Sinbuljae, you climb along the valley that flows into Gacheon Reservoir. There is a spring in Sinbuljae. After taking a break there and looking at the introduction of the silver grass field, I take my time climbing toward the Sinbul Plain. The plateau plateau Shinbul Plain is a landscape like an African savannah. On the low ridge, short pine trees form a forest. It is an exotic scenery that is truly rare in this country. The downhill road back to Sinbuljae is faster than the flat road. With that momentum, I keep running down to the top and descend straight down. I have already seen everything there is to see in Sinbul Plain.
Eonyang is the starting point. If you take the local bus to Yangsan, which runs 9 times, you can get off anywhere on the east side of the mountain. To the west of the mountain, there are three direct buses to Cheongdo. There are four express buses to Eonyang from Dong Seoul Terminal (one is late at night) and four from Nambu Terminal. Buses run to cities outside of Gyeongsangnam-do, including Osan, Suwon, and Ansan. There are countless of them in nearby Ulsan and Busan.
