Inheriting the grand spirit of Gyeongsang region, Gubyeongsan (876.3m) is an awesome destination in golden silver grass waves in the autumn breeze in October. After dominating the horizon from the summit, a satisfying bowl of hot pork soup and grilled beef patties in the bustling market alley completes this majestic climb.
”The area north of the main ridge was selected in consideration of the fact that it belongs to Songnisan National Park and the beautiful scenery including Seowon Valley. Nine majestic rock peaks rise one after another like a folding screen, and it has been called Gubongsan Mountain since ancient times, and the view from the top is good. Since ancient times, in the Boeun region, Songnisan Cheonhwangbong is Jiabi Mountain, Gubyeongsan Mountain is Jiomi Mountain, and Geumjeoksan Mountain is Son Mountain, so they have been called ‘Samsan (三山)’.
