The hike begins by crossing Unak Bridge at Seokgeori and first follows the road leading to Hyeondeungsa Temple. This is to see Baeknyeon Falls and Muu Falls, and then head to the ridge on the right and enter the actual mountain path. After climbing the ridge and going for about 7 minutes, you will reach Eyebrow Rock. There are four places with good views on the rocky ridge where iron ropes and wire ladders continue. These are before and after peak 728, the "Byeongpungbawi Rock Studio", the cloud bridge area, and peak 924 just before the summit. On the other hand, the view from the top is not good. On the way down, enjoy the view from Manggyeongdae and cliff rocks. The site of Gungye Castle is an unfounded thing that was created by someone using what little traces of the castle remained. To see Oxtail Falls and Rainbow Falls, you must not descend from Cheonghaksa Temple but pass through small ridges and valleys and then descend along the ridge.

There are 11 buses to Hyeonri from Seoul's Sangbong-dong Terminal via Gwangneungnae and Cheongpyeong, and from Cheongnyangni every hour (seat number 1330). From Hyeonri, take the county bus (11 times) bound for Sangpanri and get off at the entrance of Hyeondeungsa Temple. To get to Unjusa Temple, take the Ildong-bound county bus that runs 14 times from Gwangneungnae and get off at Hwahyeon-ri. If you are going east, take Gyeongchun National Road (No. 46) and then transfer to National Road 37 at Cheongpyeong. If you are heading west, take National Road 47 at Toegyewon.
