Inheriting the grand spirit of Gyeongsang region, Biseulsan Mountain (1083.4m) is an awesome destination in rhododendrons dye the peak pastel pink in May. After dominating the horizon from the summit, a satisfying bowl of pine mushroom hot pot that replenishes your inner energy completes this majestic climb.
”It has beautiful scenery, including azaleas in the spring and silver grass in the fall. It was selected considering the good view and the fact that it was designated as a county park. It forms the Daegu Basin with Palgongsan Mountain to the north and runs along the Nakdong River. Famous places include Jaesaesa Temple, which was founded by Beopsa Jinbo in the 7th year of King Gongmin (1358) in the late Goryeo Dynasty.
The Yugasa course is the most popular on Mt. Biseul. This is because it is the shortest route to the summit and has the most beautiful scenery. After Sudoam, there is a shortcut in the middle of the forest road. The shortcut crosses the concrete paved road twice and then leads to a forest path filled with pine trees. As you pass the forking mok under Doseongam, the mountain path becomes steeper and climbs to Jiji on the northwest ridge of Biseulsan Mountain. The main ridge road that extends from the summit to Hwahwabong Peak (1058m) is a fascinating azalea flower road. At the end, you can pass by the Daegyeonsa Temple site and go down to Suseonggol.
The starting point is Daegu. Take a bus bound for Hyeonpung that runs every 10 to 20 minutes at Daegu Seobu Intercity Bus Stop. The fare is 1,600 won and it takes about 40 minutes. From Hyeonpung intercity bus stop, buses bound for Yugasa run seven times a day. Guma Expressway Hyeonpung IC-Yugasa
