Daeam Mountain Weather★ 100 Famous Peak

[A famous mountain of high-rise wetlands]Daeam Mountain, well known as a high-rise wetland, has a large Yongneup and a small Yongneup in a basin near the summit. The size of this wetland is irregular, about 150 meters from east to west and about 100 meters from north to south, and has a gentle slope from northwest to southeast. In this high-rise wetland, which has high academic value, 47 species of floating organisms were collected by Kim Du-young (currently working at the Gangwon-do Student Science Center) from May 1968 to August 1969. Meanwhile, there are a total of 59 families and 123 species of plants distributed in Daeam Mountain, of which 19 species are endemic to the high-rise wetland and 15 unrecorded species are known, making it a treasure trove of living things. On July 10, 1973, it was designated as a natural protection area along with nearby Daewoosan Mountain. The summit of Daeamsan Mountain is a restricted climbing area, and general hiking is only possible on the ridge course to the southwest of the summit, with the Ecological Botanical Garden as the starting point.
