Daedunsan Mountain Weather★ 100 Famous Peak

The starting point for hiking at Daedunsan Mountain on the Nonsan side is the bus terminus in Surak-ri, Beolgok-myeon. Pass the ticket office and the Police Victory Tower and climb for about 10 minutes to reach the first waterfall. When you cross the iron bridge at the Seokcheonam intersection, 200 meters above the waterfall, Gunjigol, the highlight of Daedunsan Mountain on the Nonsan side, appears. At Hwarang Falls, the road divides into two branches. The left path goes to Nakjodae via Seokcheonam Hermitage, and the right path leads to Geumgang Falls and Eun Falls. After passing the silver waterfall, you will reach the 196 Iron Stairs, which can be said to be the most famous attraction in Gunjigol. If you go 30 minutes further from here, there is a spring at the site of General Temple, and if you climb up the southern ridge, you will reach Macheondae, the summit of Daedunsan Mountain, which is said to have been named by the great monk Wonhyo because it is the closest place to the sky. It is common to descend to the collective facility area via Geumgang Cloud Bridge and Dongsimbawi Rock. There is also a way to go down to Taegosa Temple via Nakjodae.
